ronald_smith6
Recently, I bought some new HP Premium Plus in soft gloss, 8-1/2x11, 11.5mil, 280g/square meter. I have been getting some creased prints and was starting to blame it on my trusty old HP 7960. I had a package of unopened paper, an older stock (the one with the two grads on the cover), no issues at all with this last generation! What gives?
Both papers are identical as far as weight goes (according to the box), but the newer batch feels lighter/thinner.
Anyone else notice this problem? It appears HP is cutting corners. I guess I have to see if I can find some of this slightly older paper. I can use the newer stuff, maybe in 5x7 size.....Boo on you, Hewlett Packard.

ronald_smith6
So, you're saying that things will not go back to the way they were? I need to scout out and find a couple packages of that last stock!
chas_frady
With my HP 8750, along with HP Premium Plus, I use Ilford Galerie Classic Smooth Pearl. If you haven't used it, you may want to try it. I just got some HP PPP in newly designed packaging, but haven't looked at it yet.
