Charles_Webster Posted June 2, 2010 Share Posted June 2, 2010
Not in LR, you need a different tool.

<Chas>
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
tzvih Posted June 2, 2010 Author Share Posted June 2, 2010
Would the other tool that you speak of involve purchasing additional software or is there a plug-in I can use?
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mark_sirota1 Posted June 2, 2010 Share Posted June 2, 2010
Use the Print module, and print to JPEG. Here's a post from Sean McCormack on how to do it.

Note that Lightroom's print-to-JPEG doesn't produce sharp results at low resolutions. The solution is to generate a high-res file and downsample that afterwards. You can do this by re-importing the file into Lightroom, then exporting again at final resolution (and with export sharpening).
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Charles_Webster Posted June 2, 2010 Share Posted June 2, 2010
Ah, thanks Mark. It never occurred to me that you could do it that way.

Tzvi, what editing tool do you use for bit-level editing? Do you not have Photoshop or PS Elements, or Paint Shop Pro, or ???

As Mark shows, it is possible to do it all in LR, but an editing tool like Photoshop is a better tool for the job.

<Chas>
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
