Rollei 35 CLA where to send?

My dad gave me his Rollei 35 that he's had since I was born. Everything works great, but I would like to have it CLA'd. Can anyone recommend a good place to have it serviced?<br>

<p>Ah, my recommendations would be of little use. I've had a few small cameras like the Rollei 35 serviced, but I'm in the UK, which is probably uneconomical in terms of carriage costs on top of CLA charges. There are bound to be PN members who can give good recommendations closer to home, however.</p>

<p>I've never owned a Rollei, however I have had several old Canon, Minolta, Yashica and Fujica cameras serviced by Essex Camera Repair in Carlstadt, New Jersey. They have always done a very good job on all my vintage cameras. Their prices are reasonable and their turnaround time is usually 2 weeks.<br>

<p>I used Krikor Maralian, who is a Rollei specialist, to CLA my Rollei 35 (which I bought new in 1972 or 3). He did a very good job. I had the camera back in under a week, INCLUDING mailing both ways.</p>

<p>Harry Fleenor's excellent Rollei service in California. He's best known for his work on the Rolleiflex TLR, but also services the 35. He overhauled my Rolleiflex 2.8F. Highly recommended.<br>

<p>Thank you all for the suggestions! This is a hard choice because of the sentimental value of the camera. I have heard many good things about Essex Camera, but it does make sense to use someone who specializes in the Rollei. I sent an email to Krikor Maralian for a rough quote, since he is close and specializes in this camera.</p>

<p>A follow up on the Rollei 35:<br>

I sent the camera to Krikor Maralian at Krimar Photo Shop in New Jersey Monday evening via UPS. The package was delivered Tuesday morning at 10:00. I received a call from Mr. Maralian at 1:00pm; only 3 hours after he received it! with a description of what was wrong and the very reasonable quote to fix it. I agreed and paid with a credit card. Today (Wednesday) at 10:00am, I received my camera working perfectly! It just doesn't get any better than that.<br>
