Happy Friday. Sorry, I'm a little late due to evening entertainment. Well, still, plenty of time this week to post your favorite pic for this week. I'll start with a photo from almost the same place as last week, only at a different day and with color film. M7 & 35 Summicron. Please put up your pics!

Terrific Steve!
This one is not what it appears to be. It is just a trick of the light, but then that's what all photographs are. Who can say what is real. That's what is magical about photography. I'm going to show three from this week, because I can't choose between them, fhe title of the second one notwithstanding.

00ctfw-551892084.jpg.e54f540979cd03775f30f7b202c2bd11.jpg

R6, 100mm f4.

For this one, I gave it an extra two stops exposure which would make it ISO 1 1/2. I processed it for the normal 4 1/2 minutes I use for ZoneSimple Extreme, so the highlights got pushed a bit. Made the eyes really pop. As usual, I never saw the critter until I scanned it, just some interesting tree roots in low light. I hadn't used this technique since the early 90's. Sort of forgot about it until recently. I am glad I remembered.

00ctg3-551892384.jpg.0821a824a8898726e86290b7214963b6.jpg

Baščaršija is the heart of the old town of Sarajevo. It's a beautiful part of town dotted with small shops, cafes, restaurants, perpetually packed both with tourist and locals. On several occasions, while passing down the main street I kept seeing this lady. She was the shop owner who would nonchalantly step outside her shop and have cigarette, literally standing in the street and watching the crowds. Finally, on my last day in Sarajevo I managed to get a shot of her in her mood at the time. Leica MP, 50 mm Summicron f/2, Fujifilm Acros.
