jpb
I have a layered .psd that originated from a file shot in 2007. I worked on it about a year or two ago, in Adobe PS CS, or maybe CS2, and currently I’m running CS3 on WinXP.

I just went to open the file to finally put the finishing touches on it, and Photoshop says, "Could not complete your request because the file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop."

The Open File status bar gets to about 20% before I get this message.

Anyone know a way into this file, without starting over from Raw?

Thanks so much.
James

mike_stemberg
Hmmmmm....? Is there any way you can open this/these files in the last version you worked these files, and making sure you have the 'Maximise PSD & PSB File Compatability' box ticked in the File Handling Preferences, when you close them there?
