daniel flather
Hi,

I'm running DPP 3.8.1 on OSX 10.6.2.

OK, so here's what Im doing. Open DPP, select and open RAW file for editing, go to Tools >>> trimming/angle. In the aspect ratio select "custom" and enter the values 1.92 and 1.2 (24" iMac desktop image is what I'm making.)

Now, select as much of the image as possible, don't crop the centre, but select the entire image WIDTH wise, the aspect ratio will not allow you to select all the height.

Hit ok and let the image render, close the image. Now batch process, check resize, enter 1920 width and the height will automatically be 1200, hit execute. Find the image on your drive and right click to see the properties, my images have been 1800x1200, not 1920x1200 as entered.

The only way to correct this that I can find is to leave a 1 pixel (about that) border width wise when trimmipng in DPP. That will allow a 1920x1200 jpeg in batch processing.

The old version of DPP did not have this issue. Images were shot with 50D and 35/1.4L lens.
mbkissel
Daniel, I'm using DPP 3.8.1 on a Windows machine and unable to duplicate your problem. When I go through the same procedure, the files are 1920x1200.
