Looking for a good Photography class in NYC to take

<p>Hello!<br>

Almost 2 years ago I purchased a nice SLR camera (Canon EOS 40D), and it has definitely challenged my knowledge of photography to the point that I'm not getting the most out of it! I live in New York City, so rather than study an online course I would really like some recommendations on courses that i can take at a local college or maybe some good workshops that someone would recommend for a beginner-intermediate level student like me. I have already watched 2 DVD's on my camera and read a book... but I learn much better from interaction and live instruction!<br>

<p>Living in New York you have a large variety of choices. ICP and SVA offer classes. Both will review your current work and discuss what you want out of a class to help you decide what class is best for you. Photomanhattan and the New York Camera Club also have classes. If you post some images we could see whaere your interests are and help further.</p>

i've taken a fwe classes at ICP and they are great. Really get your money's worth.
