ken_tuvman
Good Morning,

The winder crank seemed to be hanging like a loose tooth ready to fall out - I gently lifted it and it came off. Beneath the philips screw is a stainless piece that must've attached to the bottom of the plastic crank. Is this something anyone has run into before?
If so, what is the remedy? I was thinking I could use a small dab of silicone or epoxy to re-attach.

Thanks much,

Ken Tuvman
q.g._de_bakker
The philips screw attaches the crank to the camera.
The thing below the crank is fixed to the crank using other screws.

It is better to find out what went wrong where, and put it back together the way it should be.

ken_tuvman
Thanks - looks like the screw must have worked its way loose as it is out - probably fell into what's underneath the plate. Is it okay to remove the phillips screw and remove the plate? I don't want to have a bunch of springs popping out.
q.g._de_bakker
It is, yes.
But take it slowly, and try not to disturb too much unnecessarily.
And keep the diagram where you can see it.
