unce
Hi, I have a question about model release forms and stock photos. When I do a shoot TFCD, for the model release form, do I have to state anywhere that I will use the photos for selling to stock, or can I just state that I will have full ownership of the photos and can do anything with them as I please?
Because I dont' want to be sued or whatever if they find out they see a photo of themselves on a corporate website or something and they didn't want it there because I didn't mention it in the release. But I think, having full ownership would protect me right?
Thanks.
Also if you guys have a link to a good model release form, feel free to post.
David.
john_h.1
Did the search for "model releases" or clicking on the link above before posting fail to reveal the endless list of questions about what's involved in model releases. :) It doesn't matter though. Its a perilous chronicle of learned wisdom and experience to confident sounding wild speculation.

Here's a resource... http://www.danheller.com/model-release.html

robert_sholl
This is a pretty constant topic on Model Mayhem. The general consensus it to spell it out but keep in mind you should be very very very specific about what the model can do with the images from TF. You might find your model wanting the same rights you have.

Getty provides their release in 12 languages.
http://contributors.gettyimages.com/article.asp?article_id=991
