renee_jones1
I am so frustrated that I simply can not seem to understand how to import Nef files.
I have PHotoshop Elements 8. My photos are imported into my mac via iphoto. I am not able to find them trying to use photoshop.
I've tried google and all sorts of answers there, but I still don't understand. Does someone know how to simplify the ABC of a Nikon Raw NEF file and how to import into Photoshop Elements?
I feel like a total idiot, but I can not figure it out, and don't have any technology minded friends who can help.
nikbryant
You might try just dragging and dropping them to a folder on your desk top straight from the camera media. Then you can access the folder from PSE8

Nik
johnny_anderson
You didn't say what camera you are using and you may need to download and install the latest camera raw file add in for PSE8. Here's a link to the mac 5.6 version of camera raw. Follow the instructions for placing the file in the correct folder and it may cure your problem.

http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4621
