johnya Posted February 18, 2010 Share Posted February 18, 2010 <p>I just bought a Tamron 28-300mm F/3.5-6.3 XR Di VC for my CANON XTI (400) and the chart says that I should be able to set the aperture to 3.5 at 28 and 35 mm but it only goes down to F5.6 at those focal lengths. The lowest aperture on my Canon XTI is 4.5 at around 60mm. The manual says it should go down to 3.5 at the lowest focal lenghts......
