Processing Noise Reduction At What Stage?

This is just a quick question. At what stage during my processing of images should I be using my niose reduction software to get the best results? I am using Noiseware Professional.<br>

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.<br>

<p>For me it varies by image exposure and amount of noise...</p>

<p>If I have a problematic image, I may do noise reduction on it prior to doing anything other than opening it.</p>

<p>On 99% of my images though, it's the last thing I do before sharpening.</p>

<p>if working on broad gradual swaths of color gradients like in blue sky's before reducing noise if you want to avoid posterization.</p>

<p>You might want to selectively brush it in on these types of images.</p>
