If you are used to a 1.3 crop and 16mp are enough for your print size and detail requirements then don't see why it wouldn't work for you.</p> <p>If you use ultrawides or print very big or very detailed images then the 1Ds MkIII would make more sense and be a good compliment to a 1.3 crop camera. For outright detail or larger print sizes more mp on a larger sensor will always beat a smaller sensor with less mp. Indeed if you don't need video or the high fps the 1Ds MkIII is a better general photography tool than the 1D MkIV.</p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
