joe_mcinerney

Have you had to open any Photoshop CS4 RAW or DNG images in CS3 after using some of the new tools like the Graduated Filter or the Adjustment Brush in CS4? I was curious as to the outcome. I did open a CS4 DNG that had a graduated filter and it appears that it had added it to the image in CS3 and never gave any indication whether the tool would work or what would happen with it in CS3.
I was hoping someone has experience with this.

peter_mounier
The adjustments done with the new tools in CS4 are not applied when the saved DNG file is opened in CS2. This makes sense since the instructions embedded in the DNG file are to use a tool that doesn't exist in the older version.

Peter
