richterjw
I have a Canon A-1, and the winder gear cover on the bottom of the body has turned up missing. Does anyone know how I might go about find a replacement? Also, I'm not sure I'm refering to it by the parts actual name, if anyone can provide insight there. Thanks. bsharpe411
Jeremy...check out eBay. Search under 'Canon A-1 winder cap'. There are a few available for a couple of bucks.

It looks like a lot like my A-1. Used for work...not for show :-)
richterjw
Bob, thanks. I just bought two. Yeah, mine's been through the ringer a few times. But I know it so well, and it just feels right. I'm sure you understand. JR
bsharpe411
Glad to be of help Jeremy...and remember - both Winder A and Winder A2 have a place to store the cap when docked to the camera. Happy shooting!
