Yves Petronin
A few years ago, I bought in a photo store in Arlington, VA, a series of neoprene tubes (with a closed bottom) that could hold and protect a lens. They were made of two parts. You would place the lens in one side, then fit the other side (having a slightly larger diameter). I have found this equipment very handly for backpacking and used it for years. Since some of my equipment was stolen a while ago, I have lost these neoprene tubes, and I miss them a lot. I could not recall what brand they were and could not find anything close on the market today.... Pouches protect well, but they are usually a pain to open, to close, and while hiking you need almost 4 hands, to use them or risk to drop either the lens, or the camera....Is anybody familiar with these tubes and cous advise a source? I remember they came in two colors, one red, and one black if this is any clue....
Thanks

steve_10170
Hi..just reading briefly was reminded of small travel bags I've seen at outdoors stores in past. What about REI or other such outlets for general purpose items? Just a thought.
