nicholas_schale
Hello all,

I have my first 'portrait' session where a BUNCH... and I mean a BUNCH of kids will be coming through to get a quick snap shot done.

This is my photo card AND order form that I came up with.

It will either be the bottom half of a 8.5x11 ad OR one of the pages in a 2page 8.5x5.5 ad (so they can print it out easier/less ink). I'll have extras at the event of course.

*also note, the center it's at wants 20% off the top! And prices include sales tax.
THANKS!

wes_d1
Hey Nicholas,
You should add phone number to the form so you can get in touch with them if there is a problem. It never hurts to have it.
daverhaas
Nick -

20% is pretty reasonable. I did a league last year for 20% and then found out that the competition (big box photo) offered them 30%! (Good news was that I still had the league! They viewed service and accountability more important than kickbacks...)

Dave
nicholas_schale
Dave, that makes me feel a lot better. While I still think it's high, it's nice to know that it isn't unheard of.
Dave, what do you think of the card?
wes_d1
If it makes you feel better the standard school commission in texas is 40%. So 20 isn't that bad at all!
daverhaas
Nick -

As for the form itself - love it (with the addition of your phone number) -

Keeping it simple as for the packages is a great idea. I think I'm at 7 or 8... but the majority of my sales are 2 of them...(Team 8 x 10 w/ Individual 5 x 7 and a team 8 x 10 with individual 5 x 7 and 8 wallets)

Where did you get the icons for the packages?

Dave
nicholas_schale
Again thanks for the feedback.
Created the icons :D built it from scratch.
nicholas_schale
OK! Final is now updated at the top of this thread.

Also, instead of having a 8.5x11 i am opting for two half page graphics. One photo card, one mini-advertisement. The teachers are suppose to print this out for the kids, so this way they can save on ink and maybe some paper.

willperson
Hey Nick, has your event taken place yet? Would love to hear how it went if it did. And if not, when is it?
The shipping to the teacher was a great idea! God forbid a bunch of parents order a 4x6 and you have to spend more than that just to get it to them. (If you were using mpix, or mpix pro) I was thinking of this while reading your other thread in regards to this event.
Let's hear it!
