j_sevigny
This probably doesn't belong here but I didn't know where else to place it. I'd like to invite all of you to check out my new project, El Muerto Pare el Santo, at Visura Magazine. Happy New Year to everyone and best of luck for 2010 (looks like we're all going to need it)
Sevigny
http://www.visuramagazine.com/vm/el-muerto-pare-el-santo-john-sevigny
clive1
Good one John,
I like your use of flash. There's a sadness to the series that works well. Visura's an interesting magazine. I couldn't find any statement (if there is one). Happy New Year.
Spearhead

This probably doesn't belong here

I don't see why not. It's documentary.

It's also very well done. Great work!
Music and Portraits Blog: Life in Portugal
j_sevigny
Thanks for your kind comments, Jeff.
Re: statement. It's below the pictures on the same page and worth reading (IMHO) if you have the chance, given the personal nature of this project. Now, off to hunt for more exhibition opportunities:)

js
josephmolieri
Overall the images work well. There is a sense of continuity through out the images. There were one or two that seemed quite a bit weaker conceptually. The one that I would've cut is of the woman on the bar stool it just had a really "snap shot" feel versus the more subtle turmoil and poignancy the others had. Not sure about the watermelon one either. At the end of it I did enjoy it and it left me wanting to see more. Good job!
