Lets see something old.

Here are a couple from a recent trip to visit friends in PA. As usual, this includes a visit to nearby Gettysburg.

General Warren is known as the savior of Little Round Top by his quick thinking and orders. Of course, there are other heroes who were responsible there and are co-saviors, but it was under his leadership that this was done. He is shown on Little Round Top where he stood, gazing in the exact direction, at great personal risk to assess the situation.

Next shot is the train station where Lincoln's train arrived in November, for him to appear at the dedication of our first national cemetary, and give his famous address.

By coincidence, I was there on November 19, (Remembrance Day) the anniversary of his speach. There were a number of special events going on, and numerous of visitors to attend.

Outside Rockhampton in Central Queensland (Aust.) sits a little country church. In this little country is an old organ. This old organ is a pump pedal one to make it work, and I am told, this is the organ my great grandmother used to play for church on Sundays - just a few years ago - well maybe a bit than that.

00VEbK-199957584.jpg.84b4d93b68e48fb3c0bd897ed1dd94a1.jpg

Continuing with the old bridge theme, here's one from Lucern, Switzerland.

Here's an old monument, also in Lucern.

Now that I've got a Lucern theme going, here's an old railway engine, from Rigi, just across the lake from Lucern.
