220 film in a Rolleiflex

Newbie question: I am the proud new owner of a Rolleiflex 2.8c.<br>

I am also the proud new owner of bunch of 220 film.<br>

Will the Rollei take 220? I know that it's adaptable to 35mm but what about 220?<br>

<p>Sorry, but a 2.8c will only take 120. Only the later F series Rolleis took 220 film.</p>

<p>I think you can get Harry Fleenor of Rolleirepairs.com to put on a 220 switch, though it won't be the 12/24 button. It will be a little button by the strap hanger. You can still shoot 220 film in your camera if you shoot the first 12 frames and then wind the film off, the take that roll out and restart it like a new roll, and it will shoot a second 12 frames. Or after the first 12 frames you can crack the back open and reclose it and the camera will reset to 0. Or after the first 12 frames you can just guestimate the advance distance with the advance lever and keep count yourself for the next 12 frames.</p>
