w_t1
Alan, I bet you could sell that "powerline removal filter" on ebay. I love the "will not be available in 34mm drop in" text, made my morning. Tom lol
Andy Collins
Mihail, what an awesome series of pictures! This was just like experiencing the place through your photographs. What great color! I have a very large soft spot for the F-1 as I think it's a fantastic camera. Thanks for posting these, and I hope you post more.
alan_swartz
Mihail, they're getting better as you go. Those latest portraits are fine, and I really like the 24mm shot. Good light, color, and composition.

Man, everybody on the forum is better at portraiture than I!
m_m7
Alan I seriously doubt that I am better than you at portraiture.Just make them laugh somehow.I don't even know spanish so after talking with people there my hands were hurting.
Last batch of pictures I don't want to monopolize this

rick_janes
What an enjoyable collection, you have a great eye for the local ambiance!
That ol' F-1 may be beaten but it's far from defeated...
sabir_ahmed1
Loved the entire set. I have an old F-1 with a useful range of lenses and it's still my first choice when I am shooting people or portraiture. There's something about it's simplicity that encourages me to experiment more with compositions.
jim_leicafan
The photos are wonderful. I especially like how the blues turned out. I have two questions.
1. What film did you use.
2. How did you solve the mercury battery problem? (assuming you have the original F-1).
I have each of equipment items you have, but comparing my typical results with yours, I especially want to credit the photographer rather than the gear. I am an MIT educated engineer, and I understand most of the physics, but my wife and children, who don't know an f stop from a door stop, produce more pleasing photos. I guess you have to born with the talent.
m_m7
Thank you for the words. The film types are Kodak 100G for all the landscapes and Fuji 400 NPH for people. These work for me great and I see no reason to change them. The battery I bought it from ebay ,there are a lot of people selling them for about 4 dollars(called Wein). It works fine,I never bothered to check the meter against others, etc.Just follow the needle, tried a roll and it worked great.
