User_502260 Posted November 5, 2009 Share Posted November 5, 2009 <p>I have a 135/2.5 Tamron Adaptall II lens. If you can't get good sharpness from it at f/8, it isn't the lens. Most DSLR and AFSLR cameras have dreadful viewfinders for manual focusing. In some cases you can install a different focusing screen and that may help. Using an EVF or focusing with an LCD screen does not compare to using the same lens on a Canon F-1 or Nikon F2. </p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
