keith_anderson7
Anyone know if you can do this? My Canon dSLR can, and I like that function for macro work, I can mount the camera low and sit with a small laptop, view the pictures, and make fine adjustments to focus and f/stop from the laptop without getting down on the ground in a pile of mud or worse to look thru the viewfinder or live view to guess what the picture will look like.

I didn't see it in the spec and don't know if it's there and not mentioned or not there.

Thanks in advance

vivek iyer
Tethered operation is not available.

But, there is a better option.

Buy a G1 which is cheaper and more versatile .

Use the articulating TFT screen for your purpose.
patrick j dempsey
If you have the optional viewfinder, then there is a device out there that you can clip onto the viewfinder of just about any camera and it has a 3 inch screen it projects the image onto. This is one of them:

http://www.zigview.co.uk/

On the cheap end, you can also get a mirror that clips to the bottom of the camera and flips down so you can see the screen from above... a reversed image of course.

http://flipbac.com/
