conwaygroup
Thanks to Richard Karash and Lil for the comments last week. I agree with you Richard, loons are a difficult subject due to their coloring and their wariness towards man. My shot last week was taken after spending about a half hour quietly trolling along with an adult pair in our fishing boat. After a while they seemed to accept us as being loony too!
This weeks shot is from the same trip to our favorite northern Wisconsin getaway.
D3 70-200VR 2.8 with 1.7 tele handheld while in a boat ISO 1000 f/11 1/800

pge
This is an amazing week! I won't go into my faves because I don't want to exclude anyone, but I want to mention two things. Charles, I was also at the Toronto air show, on my 3rd story deck and I almost posted the same shot. And I thought I was the only one taking photos. So here is another shot from that same airshow. The other thing that I wanted to mention is that I have never been interested in macro photography, but watching this post week after week I have seen some amazing stuff and I have to say that it is catching my attention.

Anyways here is my contribution this week, I know it is a bit long, blame Charles.

Shot with my new D700 just purchased on friday to replace my amazing D200.

filipl
I've been away for a while now, but did take my time to check what's going on on Wednesdays on Pnet. :) Finally I have some time, so I'll post photo from last month when I was on vacation. I haven't had camera in my hands since arriving home last month. :( So here it is, it's early morning ferry about to stop to embark passengers from little island here in Croatia.

jannekaakinen
Hi everyone! Great pics already in the thread, can't wait to see them all tomorrow!

My pic was shot last Sunday, the only day within a couple of weeks I actually used my cameras more than a shot or two. Me and my significant other went to a short walk in the neighborhood and I fell in love with the green moss on the trees in a small patch of forest that is basically in our backyard. I think I might have gone a bit overboard with PP'ing with this one, but the green made me do it... :)
