Cross compatible film backs for 2x3?

I recently got a Crown Graphic 2x3 camera with the RH10. I'd like to

find a 6x9 back for it instead of the 6x7 and am wondering what other

makes of backs and accesories are compatible with it --- are the

Graflex XL and XLRF (including the Polaroid?) compatible? I know the

Mamiya RB film backs are and in the archives I found mention of this --

- how about RB Polaroid backs? Mamiya Universal backs? Koni Omega or

others? Is there some sort of spacer (P adapter) that I could use with

Polaroid, a ground glass or film? How about Horseman and Linhof 2x3

backs?<p>

I did archive searches but found little info on this cross

compatability issue. If I buy more acessories for the graflex, I'd

like to be able to use them with other cameras I might use in the

future or be able to save cash by substituting less expensive

accessories.<p>

Your 2x3 crown have a Graflok-back, I belive. Thus, Horseman 2"x3" backs and Mamiya RB backs (possibly also Wista 2"x3"?) can be used. The RB-polaroid-backs can not be used, because these are permanently attatched to an adapter-plate identical to the camera-side of the rotating-back of the RB-67. The same goes for the adapter for using Mamiya-press type magazines on the RB-67. The Press-magazines themselves are, as I recall, not adaptable to a 2"x3" graflok alone either. Not having first-hand knowledge on the Graflex XLRF, I belive that these neither are adaptable to the 2"x3" Graflok, as they are to big (being adaptable to 4"x5" graflok, I belive, if original mounting-hardware are removed). Linhof 2"x3" backs are very different from 2"x3" graflok as part of the rotating-back of the Linhof is integrated in each film-back, a'la Mamiya RZ. Only Linhof-exception to that is a (new - and horrifying expensive) 2"x3" slide-under-the-ground-glass rollfilm-holder (Rollex), which ought to work on all 2"x3" with ground-glass back (Linhof, Horseman, Graphic, early Toyo etc.). I don't know about the Koni-Omega backs. but as these cameras have a very spesial pull-push film-advance, I would be surprised if they were of the 2"x3" Graflok-style.
