markonestudios Posted September 1, 2009 Share Posted September 1, 2009 I have had a chance to use the same body/lens combination (50D/10-22) and I was indeed greatly impressed. I doubt you'll struggle to resell the lens later on. I would advise though that you try and get a new one if at all you can stretch your budget that far. It is likely to fetch a better price down the line than trying to sell a lens as a second owner. <p>I also own the 17-40L which I occasionally use on my film SLR. Its performance is simply superb. It got me addicted to super-wide ;-) However, when I do use it on my crop sensor 400D, sometimes I find it doesn't quite go as wide as I'd like.
