john_lynch5
I purchased a Bronica "C" at a camera show. It does not have the 120/220 lever or indicators on the body. There are three circular cut outs in the leatherette where these would be. My first thought was that the lever was missing, but the body is solid where the cut outs are. Everything I have found on the 'net states that the "C" took both 120 and 220 film and that it had the lever to switch between the two. I am wondering if Bronica made some C's (maybe early ones) that took 120 film only or if this is some kind of later modification.
curtis_daily
That is the early version. I've never seen one, only the later version with the 120/220 lever. The later version is now being called C2 by some people.
herb_goldschmidt
My 'C' has no 120/220 lever. I bought it here in the UK and I believe it's a model made for Japanese domestic use, as its top shutter speed is only 1/500 and I read somewhere that it was only the models made for export that have a 1/1000 speed.
