advise on equipment

<p>As a noob to stuido lighting I have a area of about 13ft x 13ft that I can set up as a small stuido. I have some equipment that I use with 2 speedlights.What I need to know is what sort of equipment I will need also I only Have a budget of about $400 cdn. I am thinking about a 2 light set up.also I do not want hot lights for tempture reasons. Also are there any good books on the subject .<br>

<p>Do you want to use the 2 speedlights you already have? For a small space like that, they should provide plenty of power. Or do you want monolights and not plan to use the speedlights at all? </p>

<p>Start w/ the speed lights, and get a 36" and 48" umbrella that can be used as both shoot through and reflected. You'll need stands that you can attach the speed lights to off camera.</p>
