ralph_barker
Does anyone in the group know the differences between the current Toyo 810M II model and the older 810M (non-II)?
jerry2
The only differences I remember hearing is... the MII allows the front standard to rotate 180 degrees, to allow for greater bellows extension, and they added bigger control knobs on the MII. You may want to pose this question to Mamiya USA if you are in the USA, then tell us!
walter_glover
Ralph, The rotating front standard is only half the story. They also equipped it with a longer bellows ... All this to allow use of the Nikkor-T 1200mm and similar. WG
jerry2
Ah haa...so that is why Toyo allowed the board to spin around. Walter, do you know what the difference was between the max. bellows draw on the M was vs. the MII? Good info!
ralph_barker
Unlike the Toyo 45AX/AII, the MII actually has two interchangeable bellows available. The standard bellows extends sufficiently to use an 800T lens, and the optional long bellows will handle a 1200T lens. I haven't been able to find bellows-draw specs on the earlier model, however.
