Lense Cap for Tokina 12-24

<p>I would like to know if there is a lense cap that fits the 77mm diameter of the Tokina 12-24mm with the thin UV filter attached.<br>

The filter has no threads at the front as it is a thin version for wide angle lense and the original snap on Tokina (very good without the filter on) cannot be fitted.<br>

<p>There are push-on lens caps for thin filters, some brands deliver them with the filter I believe (B+W, the more expensive Hoya filters come to mind).</p>

<p>For what it's worth, I use a regular UV filter on my tokina 12-24, and it's causing no issues for vignetting. So in case you did not get the filter yet, you might just want to try a regular one.</p>

<p>i much prefer the push-on cap with came with my 77mm slim Hoya Ultra filter over the OEM one. you could probably get just the cap at B&H or Adorama.</p>

<p>Tokina 12-24/4 does not need UV filter. <br>

The original Tokina lens cap kept falling off from the lens alone and tested my patience, and Nikon lens cap was holding a bit better. </p>
