lroy
Let’s says that I see something great, I start filming it in (1980x1080 30f/s). I also want to take photos in (5616 x 3744 (21.0 MP)) at the same time, by pressing the trigger with my finger at the same time the camera records the movie.

Is the sensor and processor able to film and take still images at the same time, or do I have to move the selector from a function to another one?
goulden
short answer: no
whilst in film mode you can take a still photo but it will then pause the video for two seconds and then carry on with video
lroy
Thanks, a 2 second pause is alright with me. So we dont have to go in the menu in between.

taje
Can you say "Supercalifragilistichespiralidoso" over and over quickly while shooting that image, also? ;-D
model mayhem gallery
Yes and no Marco, you can only "Supercalifragilistichespiralidoso" over and over (burst mode) if you have the upgraded firmware and a UDMA type Compact Flash card. This is however set by a custom function.
