will_daniel1
OK, this is weird. The same SUV is in the two similar shots (two and three), but the walking woman is in only one. Javier, does that mean the woman was walking faster than the car was rolling? Or was the SUV possibily stopped at a traffic light in one of the photos? (I know, you thought I wouldn't notice that woman, didn't you?)

No clue who the violinist is.

Will
dan_stegal
I saw him on 60 Minutes a while ago. He's a very gifted classical musician who has Schizophrenia - IIRC. I have no idea what his name it and I'm too lazy to look it up. He has a heart breaking story - if this is the guy I'm thinking of.

The girl in the micro mini skirt - any rear shots of her?

Keep that up and you'll be the Pentax thread Henri Cartier-Bresson!

Here's a great You Tube clip with Steve Lopez and Nathaniel Ayers.

Once again Javier. Outstanding capture! andrewg_ny
I guess the real-life Soloist who inspired the recent Jamie Foxx/Robert Downey Jr. movie . I guess this one isn't made of wax. Will, you must not live in a place where cars get stopped in traffic. :-)

jgredline
Thanks for looking, CC always welcome....P.S., I don't know if the last few are out of focus, blurry or it's my glasses or lack there of.
jeremy_corbin
Javier, I think the last few would have been in focus if not for the motion blur... The last one is pretty hard to tell however.

These are all great shots, even if there were no more shots of the lady in the short skirt. :-)
personalphotos
Another great series of shots Javier. I have to live vicariously through your camera as I have nothing even close to this interesting where I live to do any street shooting. I must say though 2 shots further up sorta ruined my breakfast in a full body shiver kinda way.... ;)
raybrizzi
Fantastic street shots. These are the kind of shots I would love to take but they never seem to work out like these do. Well timed captures of the people, which is what street is all about.
michael_kuhne
Excellent captures, javier! Always a pleasure to view your street shooting. Amazing that you happened upon Nathaniel in action.

That tall blonde um, girl in the wild stockings, shoes, and short skirt is a real keeper to get some laughs! stemked
Y'all, I think we need to stick to topic of the headliner. Putting up a large number of photos in this thread that are not related to the original post seem self-serving. Also IMHO I think the remarks regarding the women are inappropriate for our forum and more than likely offensive to some of our other readers. We want to attract new members, not drive others away. I appreciate that y'all are being good-natured but I ask that you remain mindful of the sensitivities of members.

Respectfully,
Doug
jgredline
Hi Folks,...Thanks for the wonderful comments. I will always appreciate them. :)

Doug...First let me apologize to you and all those whom my self-serving thread offended...

In regards to the man/women in the dress, I do not see what was said that was offensive...Perhaps it is offensive to some to see a man dressed up as a women in a very public street? Certainly it would not be to someone who indeed dresses that way, or they would not dress that way, right?

As far as attracting new members, perhaps you folks behind the scenes should concentrate on keeping the ones you have. Seriously speaking, if you read even have the over 70 emails I received from people who don't post here on P.net any longer (while serving my ban)and some who do, you would be shocked..Or maybe not. I suspect you folks already know...

Then again perhaps the problem is me...I after all did get banned for ''giving praise'' to a thread and posting a few pictures that where longer than 700px when the last I read, the rules said 700px wide...Yet, if you look around the forum there are many posters who place images longer than 700px...

Now I realize I have started a few more posts than I should have here in the Pentax section.. In case you have not noticed, it is a rather slow section now. Not much life in here it seems...I was simply trying to help, But no worries, I will not trouble you with my self serving threads any longer....I will be joining the ranks of simply following along with the occasional post, unless of course you decide to ban me again...Oh, let me guess. This thread is now locked or deleted.

Respectfully.
javier
