charedan
Just got myself an EF-S 10-22 F/3.5-4.5 USM for my 40D. Went out this afternoon to shoot with it. This is a revelation for me.
As much as I love bird and wild life photography (40D w/100-400, E3 w/Bigma), I simply love this lens for landscape and architecture. I love my Zuiko Digital 14-54 (28-108 Equiv) on my E3 for landscape and architecture but never had anything this wide (16-35 Equiv.).
What do you photograph with yours?
angel_bocanegra
SAme here man, love it and miss it. I went FF with 5d2 and sold purchased 17-40L. I can actually tell in my lightroom comparisons between the two(5d2+17-40 vs 40D+10-22) that my raw images are actually more sharp and contrasty than the 5d2.
david israel
I have been researching this lens along with Sigma's new F3.5 10-20MM and I like what I am hearing. Do you have any sample shots that you can post?
I hope you enjoy your lens,

David

charedan
Angel: I have a friend that got the 16-35 for his 5DM2. Although he hasn't used it much, really likes IQ. When I saw what he could take with it, that gave me lens envy.
David: Haven't shot anything whortwhile just yet (spent only a few hours experimenting) but the IQ, contrast and resolution are beyond my expectations. I know I'll enjoy this lens! Did I tel you guys already, I love it, I love it, I love it.
Clayton: Nice shots, I really like the library/study picture. I really like the light, rich colours and POV. I whish i could have taken the second one.
mark_ethridge
Yeah, image quality with this lens is astounding. At a recent air show, I shot mostly with my normal and telephoto zooms, but I shot several pictures of static displays with the 10-22 and the difference in IQ was striking.
joshuat syd, aus
Unfortunately I couldn't afford to buy my own but I did manage to borrow one for a 2 week trip to Japan. It was my 1st venture into the ultra-wide range and I loved it! Sharpness, contrast and colour of the Canon 10-22 are phenomonal.
