I cant Upload Pictures to my Gallery

<p>I just joined the site and started to upload photos to my first portfolio and an error pops up. The first one says that there is no file to upload? The next one says my picture is to big, I mean its not that big, Its just a normal pic I guess, anyway whats the file size and how do you go about changing all of the pictures you have to the correct file size for this site? I take pictures using a canon 50d and in large format, they are around 1-2mb a piece on average some are smaller.</p>

<p>I went to this page already and read it twice. this line keeps on jumping out at me: You will not be prevented from uploading images larger than this, but be aware that this will result in most of the viewers of the image having to scroll. photo.net will create a small thumbnail for your image, which is not charged against your quota. If your image is large, either in dimensions or in file size, photo.net may create a smaller file and display this by default. This "medium" view will also not be charged against your quota.<br>

If this is true then why will it not accept my picture uploads?</p>

<p>It's not true. The limit is 1500x1500 or 3MP.</p>

<p>Thanks bob, my pics are taken with a canon 50d and it takes up to 15 MP limit but the size is over the 1500x1500. How do I change that? Do I have to go into each pic and change them one by one and what program do you use to do this.<br>

Also will my pictures always be changed to this size, and wont that hurt their quality when I get them printed?<br>

Or do I have to shoot them with a preset determintation of size?<br>

<p>There are lots of options for resizing. Just about any image editor can do it. Otherwise you can just use one of these options:</p>

<p>Tyler, I have the same problem and I have no option for resizing on my computer because someone messed it up (not me). I have found if I email the photos to myself then it automatically resizes so I can then upload them here. Hope that helps as no other suggestion worked for me. :)</p>
