Feedback on Benro Tripod

Hi,
I am planning to buy the Benro M-228n6 4-section tripod, carbon fiber and KS-1 ball head.
I am looking forward to use it with Canon450D/Canon50D and Canon 100-400mm lens at the most. Does anybody have experience or feedback on this? Will it be able to hold this set up comfortably?
Thanks

I haven't used any of the Benro products, but I looked up the specs on both the tripod and ball head. Both have ratings that well exceed your intended gear load. You should be fine if you put the quick release on the 100-400 ring mount and not the camera body.

I bought this Benro last year:

I'm really happy with it. It's a couple pounds heavier than a friend's equivalent Gitzo, but it was $500 less. :) I went with an Acratech GV2 ballhead. I had read some pretty bad reviews of the Benro ballheads. Making tripod legs isn't exactly rocket science, so I was willing to take a gamble on the legs since I had heard positive things about them.

I own numerous Gitzo and a Benro tripod (not a Benro head though). The Benro is as sturdy as the Gitzos and I have had no problems whatsoever with mine. I would buy a Benro again. I did shy away from their ballhead after reading user experiences on the web.
