Canon M80 Backup Device

<p>Hi,<br>

I have been using the M80 for a few years now and have been very happy with it. I purchased it on a trip to Japan when the $ was much stronger so it was a fair price for what I needed. But today I just returned from 6 weeks in Southeast Asia and to my suprise I can not get the device to work with my new Mac which runs OS X 10.5.x</p>

<p>It worked fine with my older Mac which ran OS C 10.4 but this new operating system does not even recognize the device is connect to the computer.</p>

<p>Since down grading my OS is not an option does anyone know of any tricks to try to get OS X 10.5 to recognize the device so I can get my images imported in to Aperture? I guess I could find someone to back it up on to DVD's for me but I would really prefer to get it to work with my computer because I have a few more long trips planned were I was planning on taking the M80</p>

<p>Were they ever available in the US? I read that they were available in Australia, but never in US.</p>
