velcron
I just got back from The View hotel in Monument Valley a few days ago. The hotel was great and the views from your balcony are fantastic! If you are going to spend a night or two in Monument Valley, especially this time of hear, I highly recommend it.

spud
Pretty pricey for me. In Winter I usually stay at Gouldings to sleep. At Dawn and Dusk I'm at the Valley anyway. Better yet, you can camp in primitive camping right on the edge overlooking the Mittens and Merrick Butte. $10/night baby!

gordon_lukesh1
We stayed in Kayenta across the border in AZ, about 30 miles south. The Burger King there is a must see as the father (grandfather?) of the owner was a Navajo Code Talker in WW II, the only code never broken. So the BK has a display of Code Talker stuff. On the main road thru Kayenta
