benqq_harris
I use a Canon EOS 1ds Mark ll, now about 4 years old, and always carried the 580 ex speedlite in the hot shoe. Last year I noticed
the flash didn't read back hardly any data in the panel while the hot shoe was loose. My camera guy whipped out a little screw set
and tightened it up and the flash worked fine. Flash started doing the same thing with the loose hot shoe again and I assume
that's the cause. I want to order online that little screw set for my Canon and hope that's the problem with the flash unit.
Does anyone know where I can order that little screw set i'm talking about?
thanks...bq
aimee_pieters
If you're using the flash a fair amount of time, you should probably get a bracket. Not only will it keep the flash in the proper position for vertical AND horizontal images, but it will prevent the wear and tear on the shoe and the mount. Check out www.justritebracket.com for more information....-Aimee
frank_dzambic
It's a jewelers screwdriver set, and you can pick up a set at the nearest Dollar Store. You know, the stores where everything sells for a buck. Probably any number of places carries them. Or search online for a jewelers screwdriver set.
