MB-D80 problems

<p>Hey folks, I seem to be having an intermittent problem with my MB-D80 grip. I have only used the grip sporadically. On a couple of ocassions, I will insert both En-EL3e Li-ion's OR the Nimh battery insert (utilizing Energizer rechargagle 2450 mAh batts). On both ocassions, I get a blicking battery on the display, as well as a dim view finder.</p>

<p>This morning when I used the grip with both Li-ions, one reported 100% and the other 38%. I had the same problem as discribed above.<br>

Is my D80 sensitive to batt voltage when using the grip?<br>

Interestingly on my camera, the MB-D80 battery options are:</p>

<p>AA alkaline, Ni-MH, lithium, and Ni-Mn.<br>

I have selected, Lithium when using the En-El3e's.</p>

<p>I think thats a known problem, if I remember, you might need to update your firmware to the latest and that should fix this problem.</p>
