Internet Explorer 8 -- any feedback?

<p>I'm using it right now. Nice improvement over IE7. I actually like it better than Firefox, at the moment. Better tabbed display management, some clever bookmarking tricks, etc. It's also <em>faster</em> than IE7. And I'd say, subjectively, faster than FF on the machine I happen to be using at the moment. Renders pages very quickly.</p>

<p>I downloaded and installed IE8. Like IE7 before it, it has to ask my firewall for permission to do anything, because I set the firewall that way for untrusted applications.</p>

<p>I just opened IE8 while reading this thread in Firefox and the box locked up completely. That's a new one for me.<br>

Generally it seems a bit faster than FF but not as fast as Chrome. It's not enough to trigger a switch from Firefox, I like my various FF add-ons too much to trade them for a small increase in delivery speed.</p>

<p>It seems to be much more stable than the beta. This may be in part because others have worked through some of the earlier problems. Right now, pretty decent.</p>
