Starved Rock or Matthiessen State Parks, Illinois

I am thinking about heading to one or both of these locations tomorrow or later this week (weather pending) to shoot some of the waterfalls. Last year when I went in June they were bone dry. Has anyone been there recently and if so do the falls actually have water? I'm hoping with all the rain we had recently they do. Thanks in advance for any advice.

The falls are bone dry could be because in June, at many places in high elevations, it's still winter. I saw a snow storm twice in May in the Bishop, CA area. You may want to investigate the elevation, the seasons of the area. You may want to come there around August maybe.

There are no such "high elevations" in Illinois. The highest point in the entire state is only a little over 1200 feet above sea level.
