film rules
Does anyone know of a replacement for the magnifier in the Hasselblad waist level viewfinder that would reverse the viewed image so that it is normal? I am interested in avoiding the use of a prism finder.
leicaglow
Hi Ben, There is no replacement. You need a prism finder to reverse the image to "normal".
rodeo_joe1
I once saw an optical device that swapped images around right-to-left, I think it was called a "mirror" or something like that.

If you can find a surface-silvered mirror and set it at 45 degrees in front of your camera lens, then that'll do the trick. The drawback is you have to point your camera at rightangles to the subject! Actually, that's just brought to mind those sneaky candid-camera mirror tube attachments you can buy.
