does a graflex graphic view II take a different film holder?

i have a graflex graphic view II camera. I am just barely starting large format so i have many more questions than answers. But i need film holders. From what i see a film holder is a film holder, they are universal to any camera. But i see graflex makes their own so does that mean my camera requires film holders from the same manufacture? Who knows maybe they have a special locking tab that makes me unable to use a toyo, lisco,....etc film holders? Please help before I spend money on holders that might not be work. Thank you all so much!

Check out www.graflex.org which is a web stie dedicated to Graflex cameras. I believe your camera has a graflok back. You can verify by comparing your camera to the descriptions/pictures of the different backs at this site. If you have a spring back or graflok back, any film holder will work.

My Graphic View takes standard film holders, Grafmatics, etc. as my other view and field cameras. Yours should be no different. BTW, Grafmatics are wonderful for those of us who started with roll film cameras and moved to large format cameras. With a little practice, they are easy to load and fast to use.
Good luck with the new toy/addiction.
