sandra_falksen
Dan,
Great video, amazing the performance at that temperature. Question. I just got my 5D Mk II yesterday. I currently use a 5D. The video part is very foreign to me. How do I get my video from my card to CD? What steps do I need to take? Thanks for any help you can send my way.

phule
Dan,

The failures in Antartica happend after the cameras were in the rain, not the snow. The temps were warmer there than what you see in the Powder Mountain video.

That being said, the video is great and certainly shows off the power of an amazing tool. Thanks for the link.
peter_foiles2
Sandra, you copy the video files (.mov) the same way you copy your .cr2 files or jpegs to your HD or CD or whatever, nothing special. And on the Mac at least you can view and edit the files directly with iMovie or QuicktimePro.

As for the Antartica thing, my MkII had some strange behavior under specific conditions related to low temperatures. Sent it to Canon and electronic stress testing discovered a bad part which was replaced and all is well now, warm or cold.
