jolene_balciunas
I am publishing a new local parenting magazine. I have spoke to a local photographer who is great and very excited about the project.
My questions....
What is a reasonable amount of pictures to ask her to take in one month?
We are trading adverisment for pictures?
Do the photos she takes and we use/purchase become the magazine's property or hers?
Do we both need a release form signed?
Any input or suggestions would be welcomed!

Thank you in advance!

noah_maier
1. You will find out within the first month, it's all up in the air at this point
2. No, you are enhancing your magazine's readability and consumer satisfaction by having pictures
3. They are her property, but you license them.
4. For what? For the pictures? You should have a contract and both parties should have a copy. This is a one time deal.
