ptkeam
Hi,
I'm a long-time Nikon DSLR user, but I just picked up a Canon 5G and used it on a 2-week trip to Guatemala.
< p>The camera performed flawlessly -- I really LOVE this little baby (in fact it's got me thinking about picking up a G 9 or G10)
< p>I have one problem now. None of my computers will recognize the camera when I try to download images d irectly from the camera. I have always downloaded from my digital cameras with no problem and I don't have a separate card reader.

I have installed the Canon software but I can't get any computer to recognize the camera. What might I be doing wrong?
I don't mind going out and getting a card reader but I'd like to solve this problem.
T hanks
chris_werner
Off hand, it sounds like maybe the driver for the camera is not installed. Depending on how you got to the software it may or may not have been included.
