5G -- computer does not recognize

I'm a long-time Nikon DSLR user, but I just picked up a Canon 5G and used it on a 2-week trip to

Guatemala. </p>

p>The camera performed flawlessly -- I really LOVE this little baby (in fact it's got me thinking about picking up a G

9 or G10)</p>

p>I have one problem now. None of my computers will recognize the camera when I try to download images d

irectly from the camera. I have always downloaded from my digital cameras with no problem and I don't have a

separate card reader. </p>

don't mind going out and getting a card reader but I'd like to solve this problem.<br>

<p>Off hand, it sounds like maybe the driver for the camera is not installed. Depending on how you got to the software it may or may not have been included.</p>
