casualcollector
I looked in three stores for this in the past two days. Empty hook at Wal Mart and couldn't find them at Walgreens. Is demand for these down to the point that retailers are passing them by?
railphotog
If you can't find any, try eBay. There are no doubt many available there at better prices too.

philip_wilson
They are getting less common - I have even had experience where some camera stores have none. there are several mail order outlets who sell them cheap. Either specialists like batterymart.com or you can go to online stores like KEH, Adorama or B&H. they are very uncommon in retailers these days - even Radio Shack sometimes does not have them.
bobatkins
Since they don't fit any digital camera that I know of, my guess is that they will get increasingly hard to find. However my local "Pathmark" supermarket has them, so right now it's not all that difficult. I believe that someone makes a rechargeable version now, so you might look for that. Be warned though that I've seen some negative reviews of the rechargables (very low power capacity). A grip with rechargable AA NiMH cells is the best option if it's available for your camera.
whitestone
batteryBob.com has them for $6.14, free shipping. I just ordered one today. (I have no affiliation with batteryBob. )

jim_simon3
B&H has them. The General Battery for $5.95 has been name brands in the past. I think either Panasonic or Sanyo. Order a few as the expiration dates are usually years in the future. Here is Sacramento I noticed a meter maid exchanging batteries in electronic parking meters and she was installing 2CR5 batteries, so I'm guessing there are other uses then film cameras. I steered clear of the rechargables as all the reviews were negative.
Mike Gammill
The 2CR5 is essentially two 3 volt lithium cells in series. I'm wondering if a 2CR5 housing or plastic case shaped like one could hold two of the 3 volt CR123 or CR2 cells.
