aa.still-life
I did this soundslide earlier this year.
The band is called Melou - I find them quite talented and I admire their hard work. If you choose to watch the story, make sure to have your sound turned on - otherwise it will make no sense.
(The story is to be found at this adress) http://bokehmia.net/photo/soundslides/index.html
I haven´t worked with soundslides before, so I would like some critique.

Best regards Morten

saintelmo21
Well done Morten. As Travis would say, "It's fun."
aa.still-life
Thanks! And Travis, they entertain their audience in such a loveable way - I do not doubt they´ll say "It´s fun" : )
sprouty
Very well done. I liked the images as presented and there were quite a few that would stand on their own, completely outside of the slide show. My only rather small suggestions would be to incorporate a few more crowd scenes to show the atmosphere of a concert. And on a technical note, allow for slightly longer fade in/out on the images, it seemed the slightest bit rushed.

BTW, I could have watched 15 minutes of this, work on a longer version.
aa.still-life
Thanks SP for a very good critique. I must admit, that I haven´t got that many crowd shots that I like - partly because I shot the whole thing with a canon 350D and a sigma 24-70 2.8, which as you might guess perfomed very poorly in low light (and I simply do not like flash), so the lighting in the crowd was too damn dim. I could take a look. I appreciate that you say you could watch 15 minuttes - you have no idea how much I struggled to get the story down to 5 ½ . It was ment for a news-paper, so I thought that it should be very short. People have no patience. And the fade, you are right. And the pictures could as well stay a bit longer as well. But as I said, I struggled to get it down, so it is a bit rushed.
Perhaps I will give it another try when I have the time.
(I apologize for my poor english grammar - we have another system in Denmark)
sprouty
If you don't like flash you need to spend some time here.
Here is a link to a pre-wedding party and then the actual wedding that I shot for a friend - both the party and the wedding were at night with very subdued lighting and therefore almost every image incorporates flash.
Once you get the hang of it, you'll find that 24-70 2.8 perfect for shooting in low light.

Uhooru
I think I'd say just what SP had to say in his first post. A little longer on some. Sweet pics though and the narration and music were cool.
