john v.
While the iPhone is made for holding pictures, I know of no interface device that will allow downloading pictures directly from a CF card straight to the iPhone. Also, I think the iPhone automatically sizes photos down if they are too big. However, I believe there is software to get around the photo downsizing.
brit_majure
I have a photographer friend in Berlin who does this I think. I will ask her about it, and get back to you!
george_bridgeman
This has been around for a while: http://svp.co.uk/product/ipod_media_reader_bundle_f8z909ea_retail_belkin081

Word of warning though: I bought one for a ski trip to Canada in early 2005 and the thing didn't always work. Also, that was nearly 4 years ago and I'm not sure if the product has been updated to support the latest generation iPods and iPhones - I was using a third-generation iPod (20 gig) at the time.

If someone wants to risk it and buy one to see if they've improved, I would love to hear some feedback. It'd be great if the thing worked with my 80 gig iPod Classic.

Good luck!

George.
bjmarkowitz
George, thats because you used a Belkin P.O.S. product. try this one for your 80 gig classic http://store.apple.com/us/product/M9861G/C?fnode=MTY1NDA3NA&mco=MjE0NzczNg
I don't think it workks with the iphone though.
