elliotspirrett
Hi there,
I've just bought an EOS 600 for £12.95 of eBay, (I have zero restraint but also zero money with which to exercise siad lack of restraint so it's the bargain bin for me!) mainly swayed by the high fps compared to my 1000FN.
However, I think I've hit a snag in the question of where to buy rolls of film with which to feed this monstrosity. I essentially would use to to do action work and maybe some street photography so all long lens stuff.
Any other related advice would be delightful also.
Cheers,
Elliot.
HenryUK
The EOS 600 was avery good body in its day. Far superior to the EPS 1000FN in build, speed and durability, although a lot heavier.

I get my film from www.7dayshop.com. They have a good range available at good prices, with free P&P regardless of order value.

Henry
elliotspirrett
Hey Henry,
Cheers for that. Had a look but they only have 24+36s on there for a 135. Or is this merely a lack of stock at the moment?

elliotspirrett
It's just occurred to me that I didn't state that I wanted larger rolls. Hence I now just look like I can't read. If it's going to be shooting 5fps then something along the lines of the 120 exposures would do me (though less could be fine).
HenryUK
You can't get 35 mm cassettes with more than 36 exposures. You need a special back and film holder to take bulk film if you want to have more frames available.
I don't think Canon ever made one for the EOS 600 family.
Henry
elliotspirrett
Oh... Bugger.
Oh well I'll have to just get good at swiftly changing films then :D
Or get the toolbox out. Or not.
